Several leading international schools in Singapore are entering the 2026–2027 academic year with experienced educators taking on key leadership roles.
The appointments span XCL World Academy, NLCS (Singapore), Dover Court International School, Nexus International School (Singapore) and Singapore American School, covering school-wide, divisional and academic leadership.
Among the new appointments are Maria Sweeney and Justin Kirby at XCL World Academy, Anthony Coles at NLCS (Singapore), Richard Vaughan at Dover Court International School, Karrie Dietz at Nexus International School (Singapore) and Jay Altman at Singapore American School.
Together, the leaders bring extensive experience from schools and education organisations across Asia, Europe, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Their appointments reflect an ongoing focus on academic direction, student wellbeing, school culture and the long-term development of their respective communities.
