The new campus will bring to Singapore American School (SAS) students, faculty, and community members a variety of benefits across divisions. With more flexibly designed buildings, it can capture more space for learning, play/activity space, and new programs. SAS Reimagined offers the opportunity to increase learning space by as much as 30 percent and play space by as much as 84 percent.
Singapore American School is built upon an expansive 36-acre campus. It will creatively and effectively optimize it’s lands use with an emphasis on creating community opportunities to make it’s big school feel small.
In phase one, SAS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL will create spaces that will be flexible, responsive to student needs, and adaptable to innovations in education for decades to come.
With more learning space and stronger links to nature, the SAS MIDDLE SCHOOL will offer students more opportunities to create, connect, and explore.
With a forward-looking vision for SAS’s HIGH SCHOOL, the renovated spaces will enhance the student experience in a variety of ways.
The new APEx Fitness and Wellness Center is a three-level facility, offering amenities and programs that cater to diverse interests and needs. As you may have seen, or you can drop by later, the first floor features free weights, isolation machines, and a spacious area for various activities for strength and conditioning.
The second floor focuses on cardio, plyometric, and functional fitness. And finally, this space serves as a theoretical learning space, providing opportunities for our students and educators to discuss nutrition, exercise theory, and more. Come check it out and and read more information here!
