Institut Montana Switzerland, located on Zugerberg Mountain in the Canton of Zug, is a Swiss international day and boarding school for students aged 6 to 19. The school hosts around 380 students representing approximately 55 nationalities, creating a diverse international learning environment. Around one third of the student body is part of the boarding community, while the remainder attend as day students.
The school offers several academic pathways designed to support both Swiss and international students. These include a Bilingual Primary School, Bilingual Secondary School, the Swiss Gymnasium, and international programmes such as the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme and Cambridge IGCSE. Students may also pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in the final years of secondary education.
Located in central Switzerland, Institut Montana’s campus sits in a natural setting on Zugerberg Mountain overlooking Lake Zug. In addition to the academic curriculum, students can participate in a variety of co-curricular activities across sports, arts, technology, and outdoor pursuits.
