Lehrplan 21
In the project Lehrplan 21, the German-Swiss Conference of Education Directors (D-EDK) developed Lehrplan 21 from 2010 to 2014. With this first joint curriculum for the elementary school, the 21 German and multilingual cantons implemented Article 62 of the Federal Constitution and harmonize the goals of the school. In autumn 2014, the presentation of Lehrplan 21 was approved by the German-Swiss directors of education. Each canton has decided on the introduction in the canton according to its own legal bases. From curriculum 21 there is a template as well as the cantonal versions.
