What curriculum does the school follow?
Nexus International School (Singapore) follows the IB from Early Years, offering the PYP, MYP and IBDP. Nexus also offers IGCSE for its Year 10 and 11 learners.
When does the academic year begin?
The academic year at Nexus International School (Singapore) runs from August – June. There are two semesters, with mid-year breaks in October, December and March/April.

What languages are offered at Nexus?
All lessons are taught in English at Nexus. Learners can also choose to study Mandarin or French in the Primary school, with the option of Spanish also available in Secondary school.

What are the school hours?
Classes run from 8:20-3:25 Monday-Thursday and 8:20-2:25 on Fridays. There are are also over 110 co-curricular activities (CCAs) available which run after school every day.
Do all children learn to swim at Nexus?
All of Nexus International School (Singapore) primary learners have a swimming lesson every week throughout the year as part of their curriculum.
In secondary school, MYP learners are on a rotation and will have swimming lessons as part of their PHE programme.
There is an option of paid swimming lessons available after-school through the Learn to Swim and Development Swim Programmes, as well as an elite swim squad which has won ACSIS High School Swim Champions for the last four consecutive years.
Can my child learn a musical instrument at Nexus International School (Singapore)?
