XCL World Academy

XCL World Academy’s preschool pathway begins with Nursery from 18 months old and continues through Pre-K to KG2 for children aged 3 to 6 years.

The programme uses play-based and inquiry-based learning, with hands-on activities that support communication, problem-solving, social interaction and self-management. In Pre-K to KG2, learning is guided by the pedagogy, beliefs and values of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.

Children explore ideas through Units of Inquiry, purposeful play, active learning, creativity and critical thinking, while developing early literacy, STEM awareness, Mandarin exposure, personal values and community-mindedness. XCL World Academy also provides a dedicated Early Years building, weekly swimming classes, full-time teachers with qualified teaching partners, and regular parent communication through the SeeSaw digital portfolio.

Families may also opt for the Chinese-English Bilingual Programme from Pre-K to Grade 3, which gives equal emphasis to English and Mandarin while allowing flexibility based on each child’s readiness.
